Enjoy comprehensive benefits starting on day one while making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients throughout our communities.Job Duties:Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and appropriately documented while respecting confidentiality.Utilizes appropriate imaging protocol and optimizes technical factors while maximizing patient safety, optimizing patient care, and applying principles of ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable).Preparing and/or administering, as applicable, medications through new or existing vascular access site as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.Evaluates images for proper positioning and acceptable technical quality and verifies archival storage and/or transfer of data, post processing of data if applicable.Educating and monitoring students and other health care providers.Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and appropriately documented while respecting confidentiality.Preparing and/or administering ultrasound enhancing agents through new or existing vascular access site in accordance with ASE guidelines for appropriate use.Communicates abnormal and unexpected findings with the provider to prioritize the need for additional testing or urgency of care with the licensed provider.Collaborating with a licensed practitioner in the performance of sonographic interventional procedures.Ensuring equipment parameters for diagnostic and interventional procedures are of optimal technical and administrative quality as requested by a licensed practitioner.Performing diagnostic, interventional, sonographic procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner or during appropriate educational activities.Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
