MRI Technologist - Night Shift

Role Overview An MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis, ensuring patient safety and data quality. Key Responsibilities Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history securely. Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to safety principles like ALARA. Administer medications via vascular access under licensed practitioner guidance and evaluate image quality. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying MRI safety protocols to minimize risks. Assist with MRI interventional procedures and select pulse sequences based on protocols. Participate in MRI safety investigations and ensure compliant and safe imaging practices. Qualifications & Skills Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent is required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment. Completion of a Radiologic Technology training program; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong knowledge of MRI safety, imaging procedures, and patient care.
