Job Summary The CN identifies and implements nursing interventions and evaluates results for a wide variety of patient populations, directs and acts as a resource to other members of the nursing team, and promotes compliance with policies. The role focuses on comprehensive, continuous, patient‑centered care including assessment, documentation, planning, implementation, teaching, and evaluation of nursing care plans. It also involves direct patient care, ensuring patient satisfaction, training staff, delegating duties, and adhering to university policies and federal, state, and local regulations. Deliver direct patient care, ensure patient satisfaction, train and delegate duties, and adhere to university, federal, state, and local regulations. Demonstrate autonomous practice consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and professional performance within interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. Provide direct patient care to a diversified patient population, applying knowledge, experience, and judgment to determine priorities, participate in patient and staff education, demonstrate leadership skills, and maintain accountability as defined by the Nurse Practice Act.
