Machine Operator in Rochester, NY

Job Duties:

• Operates machinery and packs parts to meet quality and production standards. This may include a group of machines or a single manually attended machine.
• Works with other operators to maintain and improve the working environment.
• Maintain documentation and paperwork to support production activities.
• Takes training from Supervisor, Set-up personnel and Process Technicians to enhance knowledge and experience in all aspects of the operation.
• Works with the Quality department personnel to be sure they understand and maintain current quality standards.
• Responsible for the housekeeping and safety of their work areas.
• Flexible and able to work in all areas assigned to meet customer requirements.
• Ability to visually inspect product for common defects and pack parts per operator instructions.

Job Skills:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Prior Plastics Injection Molding experience preferred
• Ability to learn and display an understanding of quality, safety and process knowledge
• Capable of working with team members as needed
• Must be self-motivated.
