Position Overview:
Are you an experienced landscaping professional who enjoys leading by example?
The Budd Group is seeking a Landscape Crew Leader to oversee daily landscape maintenance operations while leading a small crew to deliver exceptional results. In this role, you'll combine hands-on landscaping work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Locations: Charlotte, NC and Greenville (Piedmont), SC
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $25-$28 per hour
What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise a landscape crew on commercial properties
Coordinate daily job assignments and ensure work is completed efficiently
Load, inspect, and maintain equipment and tools each day
Perform mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, and general landscape maintenance
Train and mentor crew members on equipment operation and safe work practices
Monitor job quality and address issues before leaving each site
Identify turf, plant, irrigation, or equipment concerns and communicate them appropriately
Complete daily reports, time records, and material tracking
Promote a positive, safety-first work environment
Assist with seasonal services, including snow removal when applicable
What We're Looking For:
1-3 years of professional landscaping experience
Previous experience leading or mentoring a crew is preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to organize daily work and prioritize tasks
Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Ability to safely lift at least 35 pounds throughout the workday
