Therapist - Occupational Therapist

$1713.60/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting, focusing on enhancing mobility, activities of daily living, and functional independence. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients physical and cognitive abilities to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  
  
• 
  Develop and execute treatment plans tailored to each patients needs, including mobility and self-care activities.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and clinical notes accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Assist in managing complex trauma and neuro-related conditions, providing care consistent with best practices.
  
  
• 
  Maintain high professionalism and accountability, working autonomously within scope of practice.
  
  
• 
  Cover assigned shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations, as required by unit policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid PT or OT license in the state of Texas.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, including clinical rotations.
  
  
• 
  Experience handling complex trauma and neuro patients preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills.
  
  
• 
  Able to work independently with a high level of accountability.
  
  
• 
  Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
