Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Onsite | Weekend coverage required (one Saturday or Sunday shift per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services within an acute care setting, including mobility and activities of daily living (ADL) focused treatment
• Manage a caseload of up to 12 patients per day across all areas of the hospital
• Utilize standard rehabilitation equipment to support patient recovery and functional independence
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Float and provide coverage across all hospital units as needed
• Adhere to facility dress code and unit guidelines, including wearing hunter green scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of experience, including acute care experience or clinical rotations in an acute care setting
• Ability to work autonomously with a high level of accountability
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with complex trauma patients
• Experience working with complex neurological patient populations
