CPPI Itinerant Team Coordinator - School Year Fitchburg School District Fitchburg Public Schools - Fitchburg, Massachusetts Open in Google Maps Job Details Job ID: 5910973 Application Deadline: Sep 18, 2026 11:59 PM (Eastern Standard Time) Posted: Sep 01, 2026 4:00 AM (UTC) Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Through the Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative (CPPI), EEC is providing districts across the state the opportunity to develop partnerships between the school district and local private early education and care programs to expand access to high-quality preschool within the district, with particular attention to addressing existing barriers, including but not limited to cost and access to special education services. Fitchburg Public Schools is the recipient of an awarded planning grant through EEC. Early-stage planning grants will fund districts to (1) establish/maintain partnerships with local EEC-licensed, community-based organizations (CBOs), (2) develop/maintain a leadership team, (3) update the needs assessment, and (4) review and revise the strategic plan. Funding continuation in FY26 will focus on early implementation and preparation for full implementation in the next procurement cycle in FY27. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; Master's Degree preferred; Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary license in one of the following areas: Licensed as a Special Education Administrator from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and/or related experience Licensed in Early Childhood (PreK-2) and/or Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities, PreK-2 preferred. EEC Director I or II Knowledge of current education legislation/regulations; Ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents and advocate for children to effectively problem-solve; Expertise and working knowledge of Early Childhood program development and implementation; Experience with designing and coordinating grant requirements with EEC and/or DESE; Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, and ability to work with all stakeholders Belief in the commitment to the promotion of equity and appreciation of diversity to ensure equitable opportunities for student learning, including the implementation of specifc strategies for students with special needs, 504 plans, and/or Multi-lingual learners (MLL). Familiarity with Fitchburg's early childhood structure and offerings preferred The Supervisor/Director is responsible for the following tasks: Oversee Itinerant Team schedules in coordination with YMCA, Head Start, FHS and Busy Bees Preschool Work with Itinerant Team and Grant Coordinators to create RTI systems and data tracking Facilitate on boarding/ training of new Itinerant staff with CBOs Meet with the Itinerant Team 1-2 times monthly to review student growth and determine the professional development needs of preschool staff Keep MOU's current per grant requirements Serve as contact for CBO's in relation to Itinerant services. Collect data around needs/services provided Grant Administration and Implementation Total Compensation: $45 an hour; NTE $10,000 Sept-June Applicants must commit to being present for the full duration of the program.
