Hair Stylist Assistant Manager – SmartStyle SmartStyle Salon, located inside the largest retailer – Walmart, is a premier salon offering high‑quality hair services. A haircut is an experience that combines your skill with proprietary tools and techniques to set you up for success. Responsibilities Provide exceptional leadership and guest service. Understand guests’ needs and provide quality consultations. Perform requested services efficiently and professionally. Qualifications Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations. Desire to lead and assist a salon manager. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Tech‑savvy with administrative skills, including closing out the system at day’s end. Basic reading, writing, and math proficiency. Physical Requirements Good eyesight for detailed hair work. Ability to remain active: standing, lifting, and reaching. Comfortable lifting 10–25 lbs. Tolerance for fragrances and chemicals used in treatments. Benefits Up to 50% service commissions from Day 1. $40/hour + tips (includes all forms of compensation). Monthly, yearly bonuses.
