Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate, in Honeoye, NY to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center by managing stock, handling materials, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Hours - 7am-4pm or 230pm-11pm

Duties

• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
• Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipment accurately and on time.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
• Utilize reach trucks and other equipment to move products within the warehouse safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote a safe working environment.
• Assist in building displays or setups as required for inventory management or promotional purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Strong skills in materials handling, including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to operate reach trucks or willingness to learn how to do so safely.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
