About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for the institution's financial health, stability, and long-term sustainability, providing strategic leadership and oversight of a wide range of financial functions. This includes accounting, treasury and investment management, financial planning and analysis, compliance, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the institution's mission and goals, ensuring sound stewardship of resources and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or a CPA license, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in financial management. A Master's degree and experience in higher education finance are preferred. The role requires expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and management, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. The CFO will also be responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing financial management systems, and serving as the primary liaison with external auditors. The position demands a candidate with a proven track record in financial leadership, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a commitment to the values of equity, inclusion, and dignity.
