Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney in Plantation, FL. The successful candidate will provide legal services to clients involved in construction-related disputes, including defect claims and contractual issues. Duties Provide counseling and legal services to contractors, design professionals, developers, and individuals. Take and defend depositions. Draft and argue dispositive motions. Attend site inspections, hearings, mediations, and trials. Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law. Prepare pleadings and correspondence. Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel. Requirements Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar. Minimum of 2 years of construction litigation experience. Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Florida. Skills Strong analytical and research skills. Proficient in legal writing and oral advocacy. Effective client communication and negotiation skills.
