Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a motivated, guest-focused Assistant General Manager to help lead daily hotel operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for a friendly, hands-on self-starter with open availability who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Prior Marriott experience preferred. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to every guest while simultaneously maximizing hotel profitability. Furthermore, will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel operations are performed professionally and adhere to the brand and company standards. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: * Oversee all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries * Lead guest service efforts to ensure high satisfaction and promptly resolve concerns * Train, coach, and mentor front desk staff on service standards, systems, and brand expectations * Assist with scheduling, payroll support, reporting, and inventory management * Act as Manager on Duty as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Support the General Manager with daily operations, staff accountability, and operational planning * Maximizing ADR and Occupancy * Coordinating communications between Sales and Operating departments * Understanding financial statements and budget, including staffing guidelines * Guiding, developing, and/or implementing policies, procedures, and systems to improve business operations * Maintaining a cooperative and positive work environment Job Qualifications: * An experienced Assistant General Manager with 2+ years of supervisory hotel operations or previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality preferred * Open availability (AM, PM, weekends, and holidays as needed) * Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure * Experience with Fosse system preferred * Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus This is a great opportunity for hospitality professional ready to grow into - or continue developing in - an Assistant General Manager role.
