Dishwasher - Part-time

The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas at Murieta Matters LLC. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to read and follow instructions in English. Experience in a food service environment is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift and carry heavy items, as well as stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Responsibilities: Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and manual methods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling materials to promote a clean and environmentally friendly workspace. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members. Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils in a timely manner to facilitate smooth food preparation and service. Skills: The required skills for this position are essential for maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Basic reading skills are necessary to understand cleaning instructions and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health regulations. The ability to lift and carry heavy items is crucial for transporting dishes and equipment, while standing for extended periods is a regular part of the job.
