Legal Billing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Billing Specialist with strong electronic billing (eBilling) experience to support a fast-paced legal office. This is an onsite role in a business casual office.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage high-volume legal billing for attorneys
• Prepare, review, and finalize invoices in accordance with client guidelines
• Submit invoices through eBilling platforms (e.g., LEDES, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, Serengeti, Tymetrix)
• Troubleshoot and resolve eBilling rejections, reductions, and compliance issues
• Ensure billing narratives, rates, and expense codes align with client billing requirements
• Communicate with attorneys and clients regarding billing questions, edits, and adjustments
• Monitor and track invoice status, approvals, and payment activity
• Assist with AR follow-up and collections efforts, if needed
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• Support month-end close processes related to billing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm
• Hands-on experience with electronic billing (eBilling) is required
• Experience working with legal billing or financial systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.50 per hour
