Consolidations Accountant

Overview Atrium is recruiting for a Senior Consolidations Accountant on behalf of a global corporation based in Atlanta, GA. This person will be responsible for supporting the consolidated month-end close and financial reporting processes. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, foreign currency (FX), and GAAP reporting. Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes on multiple currencies, and prepare intercompany elimination entries in addition to unrealized gains on foreign currency adjustments (CTA). Assist with FX revaluation and impacts to the balance sheet. Support the month-end close process in accordance with GAAP accounting protocol. Prepare and review journal entries related to consolidations and close activities. Perform account analyses and support balance sheet integrity during close, including variance analysis. Participate in process improvement initiatives. Utilize consolidation systems (e.g., HFM preferred) to support reporting and close. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. Consolidation accounting experience is required. FX experience is required. CPA or CPA-eligible candidates are preferred. Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is preferred. Public accounting experience is a plus, but corporate experience is required.
