As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist within our organization, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Perform thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health conditions, and treatment needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that effectively address both addiction and underlying mental health challenges.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, ensuring that each session is tailored to meet client needs.
\n
• Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with treatment team members, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to create integrated care strategies that enhance treatment outcomes.

• Provide education and support to clients’ families, promoting involvement in the recovery process and ensuring they have the necessary resources and understanding to aid in their loved one's journey.

• Document treatment progress and maintain accurate client records in accordance with organizational regulations and ethical guidelines.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients struggling with substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions. Your focus will be on providing compassionate, client-centered care that respects individual circumstances and empowers clients to achieve their recovery goals. Building therapeutic alliances and fostering a non-judgmental atmosphere will be central to your practice.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active clinical license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in Pennsylvania.

• A master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of addiction counseling protocols and evidence-based best practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate and engage clients in their treatment process.

• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work seamlessly within a team.
