Travel Speech Therapist - Pediatrics

American Traveler is seeking an Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist with pediatric feeding and swallowing expertise for a hospital-based pediatric SLP role in Massachusetts.

Hospital setting providing acute care speech-language pathology services to pediatric patients

Role involves flexibility across inpatient, outpatient, and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) care

Preferred experience includes NICU, Pediatric Inpatient Floor, Pediatric Intensive Care, trach and vent patients, and Outpatient Clinical Feeding Evaluations

Epic EMR experience preferred

Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 4:30pm

40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts

26-week contract length

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Current ASHA Certification required

Massachusetts state SLP license required if applicable

Minimum 3+ years of pediatric feeding and swallowing experience required

Independent completion of pediatric competencies required

Current CPR certification required

FEES competency preferred

Responsibilities include providing pediatric feeding and swallowing assessments and treatment across care settings

Required to attend all team meetings during working hours

Must complete SLP department training and obtain sign-off on BMC Pediatric SLP Competencies upon starting

Must adhere to SLP department standards for patient care and documentation

Reports to and is supervised by the Pediatric SLP Section Leader
