Senior Project Manager

Salary: USD140000 - USD170000 per year We’re partnered with a well-established contractor expanding its footprint in utility‑scale renewable energy. With a strong legacy in heavy civil construction, they’ve built a dedicated solar division focused on delivering large‑scale PV projects across the Midwest and beyond. They’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead utility‑scale solar projects from pre‑construction through execution, overseeing field teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget. What You’ll Be Doing Lead the full lifecycle of utility‑scale solar projects (typically 50MW+) Manage project budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations Coordinate closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and clients Drive progress in the field while maintaining strong oversight of risks and timelines Support pre‑construction efforts, including planning, estimating, and strategy Mentor and develop junior PMs, APMs, and project engineers Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards What They’re Looking For 8–12+ years of project management experience in construction Prior experience with utility‑scale solar projects strongly preferred Background in EPC, heavy civil, or large‑scale infrastructure projects Proven ability to manage multi‑million‑dollar projects end‑to‑end Strong leadership and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, field‑driven environment Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar (preferred) Why This Role?
