Postdoctoral Associate – Reproductive Psychiatry Division: Obstetrics & Gynecology Department: Obstetrics & Gynecology Location: Houston, TX Salary Range: $82,000 Work Schedule: Flexible (Onsite only) Employment Duration: Full-time FLSA Status: Exempt Summary The Postdoctoral Associate will work in an apprenticeship mode under Dr. Teni Davoudian in preparation for a career as a reproductive psychologist. The Postdoctoral Associate will be involved in treatment, case conceptualization and clinical research activities at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women in the Division of Reproductive Psychiatry, one of the largest in the United States. For more information, please visit Job Duties Perform activities that may include treatment, case conceptualization, and clinical research under the guidance of faculty who serve as clinical and/or research supervisors. Provide and document evidence-based psychotherapy services to women with perimenstrual, perinatal and perimenopausal conditions. Document clinical activities. Evaluate and analyze data independently. Develop a service line focused on peer support services and participate in aspects necessary to accomplish this goal. Develop projects focused on peer support services. Minimum Qualifications MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field. No experience required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting. Experience in a hospital-based setting, including obstetrics and gynecology. Experience administering psychological test batteries, including projective measures. Experience in an outpatient setting.
