Position Summary The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support for the entire company and its personnel while promoting effective internal communication and employee engagement. This position is responsible for maintaining employee records, supporting company policies and procedures, coordinating HR documentation, and managing company communications through internal announcements. The role serves as a liaison between employees and management while helping maintain a positive company culture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Human Resources Administration Maintain confidential employee personnel files and electronic HR records. Post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews and prepare offer letters for office personnel. Process new hire paperwork and employee status changes following management approval. Maintain employee documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. Assist with updating and distributing the employee handbook, company policies, and standard operating procedures. Maintain employment verification records and required personnel documentation. Coordinate annual policy acknowledgements and required employee documentation. Assist management with disciplinary documentation and performance recordkeeping. Prepare HR reports, organizational charts, attendance reports, and employee data as requested. Serve as a resource for employee questions regarding company policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all employees and company information. Communications & Employee Engagement Create and distribute company-wide announcements regarding policy updates, safety initiatives, employee recognition, and organizational news. Coordinate employee appreciation events, wellness initiatives, and company activities. Assist with employee announcements, social media communication/updates, and internal communications to promote engagement. Qualifications Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) . Two or more years of HR or administrative experience preferred. Experience in the transportation or trucking industry is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Knowledge of HR recordkeeping and documentation practices. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
