Location: Addison, Texas (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Oracle Database Developer to join our Securities Pricing Platform team. This role involves programming with a focus on Oracle databases and Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting database components and services for our financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions, including stored procedures, packages, functions, and queries.
• Write and optimize complex PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
• Develop REST API services using Spring Boot and Jersey.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of database issues.
• Support production batch jobs and resolve data-related problems.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Work within CI/CD pipelines for application builds and deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in Oracle DB, including PL/SQL queries and programming. 1+ year of experience with the Angular framework and Kendo UI is also required.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL*Plus, and Oracle RDBMS.
• Experience with Java and developing REST API services using Spring Boot and Jersey.
• Knowledge of database design principles, including indexes, joins, views, and triggers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting is considered a plus.
