Food Runner

Lucky Duck, the newest addition to the Delaware Waterfront, is now hiring   Food Runners as we gear up for a busy fall and weekend brunch service. Being that we are very high volume, food runners are making great money, averaging $20-22/hr after tips. This position is perfect for a seasoned food runner who could graduate to expo or a college student looking for extra cash this summer.

Lucky Duck is a riverside tavern reimagined — featuring great cocktails, expertly poured Guinness, and modern Americana fare in a warm, comforting space with upbeat tunes. We’re proud to be the   first waterfront bar open year-round , and we’re building a strong front-of-house team to support a high-energy, late-night crowd.

Food Runners play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring dishes arrive quickly, accurately, and beautifully. This position will also support our   late-night slice window , helping serve guests efficiently during peak evening hours.

• Running food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately

• Communicating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

• Operating and servicing the late-night slice window as needed

• Preparing, plating, and serving slices during late-night service

• Assisting with table maintenance and clearing as needed

• Supporting the front-of-house team during high-volume shifts

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in service and window areas

• Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred

• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, late-night environment

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods

• Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude
