ARN - Operating Room Registered Nurse

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients and identifying individualized care requirements.
• Organizing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans effectively.
• Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
• Serving as charge nurse when assigned, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills.
• Administering medications as prescribed and responding promptly to life-threatening situations.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and positive patient outcomes.
• Supporting patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines.
• Participating actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience: No prior experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Requirements include:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual patient needs.
• Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
