Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing various warehouse activities including organizing stock, maintaining inventory levels, processing, packing and preparing packages for shipment. Performing material handling activities which may include uncrating containers and crates and moving parts and materials to the correct location in the warehouse.Responsibilities:Process, pack and prepare orders for shipment accuratelyPerform material handling activities such as receiving and appropriately, packing, unpacking sorting and storing incoming shipments, materials and partsPerform a variety of activities such as filling warehouse orders, checking, weighing and counting ordersLoad, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.Complete all shipping and receiving documents.Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.Assist with the execution of physical inventory counts and perform location auditing and reporting.Communicate with Manager/Supervisor to confirm details such as purchase order numbers.Follow all warehouse procedures and safety protocolPerform other duties as assignedAcademic/Educational Requirements:High school Diploma is required.Required Skills/Experiences:Proven work experience in a warehouse setting or similar environment.Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks and other necessary warehouse equipmentAbility to competently and safely operate a forkliftGood working knowledge of warehouse data systemsSolid communication skillsStrong Inventory skillsAbove average written and oral communication skillsAbility to plan and multi-taskDetailed orientedAbility to work in a team or independently as neededPhysical stamina and dexterity for the workAbility to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.Ability to plan workload, in conjunction with Manager/Supervisor with flexibility to adjust plans according to customer requirements assembly and quality problems.What Linamar Has to Offer:Competitive CompensationEmployee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental & Vision etc.Opportunities for career advancement.Sustainability CouncilCommunity based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.About Us:Skyjack supplies construction rental companies globally with quality engineered, simple, and reliable access and telehandler equipment.
