Position Overview Visiting Assistant Professor – Women’s and Gender Studies Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA. Type: Full-Time Salary: $71,042 per year Category: Women’s and Gender Studies Responsibilities The candidate will teach introduction‑level courses in Women’s and Gender Studies, including courses with emphasis in disability studies and sexuality studies, and an upper division course in feminist research methods. Qualifications PhD in Women’s and Gender Studies, Ethnic Studies, or other cognate interdisciplinary fields, or PhDs in other social science and humanities disciplines with designated emphases in the areas outlined above. ABD applicants who anticipate completion of the doctorate by Fall 2026 will also be considered. Candidate must have expertise in sexuality studies, disability studies, feminist research methods, and/or transnational feminisms. Must show promise in both research and teaching.
