Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on language enhancement, fluency, voice projection, and swallowing techniques.
Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, making integrated care a priority.
Educate patients and their families, empowering them to continue progress beyond therapy sessions.
Participate in inpatient evaluations and therapy, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
Maintain thorough and timely documentation to comply with regulatory and professional standards.
Commit to professional growth through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
Expertise in evidence-based approaches for treatment across age groups, with a sound knowledge of developmental and acquired communication disorders.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, fostering a rapport with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Ability to tailor therapy methods to accommodate a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Sound clinical judgment paired with problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation practices.
