About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 4 years of Operating Room experience License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Client experience - Transplant experience - General Surgery experience - GYN experience - Orthopedic experience Description: SENSITIVE UNIT: Please ensure candidate has reviewed all details in Unit/Job description. HARD STOP: 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel. Holidays: No holiday RTO will be approved. BLACK OUT DATES: 11/23-11/29, 12/21-1/3. Unit details: Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Client, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics. Weekend shifts are variable; will be discussed during the interview. Call requirements are variable; will be discussed during the interview. Floating may occur within the facility/scope of practice and to outpatient as needed. Minimum experience required is 3 years; first-time travelers are not accepted. Clinical screen: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine fit. Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant, the start may be pushed back. Local candidates are accepted. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare teams. Must pass clinical screening; applicants without required skills will not be considered. RTO policy: All RTO must be finalized at time of submission. Max RTO is 7 days per contract. Holiday RTO cannot be requested during blackout periods. All compliance documents are due Tuesday prior to the assigned start. Modules are required and vary by specialty.
