About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room experience License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Client experience Transplant experience General Surgery experience GYN experience Orthopedics experience Description: This is a sensitive unit. Candidates must review all details in the unit/job description. No holiday requests for time off will be approved during specific blackout dates. Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Client, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics. Weekend and call requirements will be discussed during the interview. Floating is required within facility scope of practice and may include outpatient services. A minimum of 4 years of Operating Room experience is required. Candidates must pass a clinical screen for final decision approval. Compliance is essential to start on time. Local candidates are accepted. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. Holidays cannot be requested during specific assignments. Candidates must complete compliance documents prior to the start of the assignment. Experience with specific surgical procedures is required. Additional unit information includes various interdisciplinary support services. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of required service lines and procedures. Candidates lacking required skills will be redirected.
