The course will meet in person. Course Description: This undergraduate/graduate level course serves students across our teacher education and NOYCE programs. Duties and Responsibilities Under the direction of the Department Chair and specific Program Directors, the instructor will perform the following duties: Teach weekly classes. Evaluate student learning using appropriate assessment methods and School of Education program evaluation system. Maintain and submit accurate and current records concerning student accountability, attendance, and performance. Maintain a student-oriented approach to education. Provide opportunities for individual consultation and feedback for students in the course. Uphold professional and ethical standards and adhere to University policies and procedures Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Doctorate Preferred, or Master s Degree and experience in the field of education. Experience with higher or K12 education. Successful record of teaching mathematics in upper elementary, middle, or high school. Excellent oral and written communication.
