AI Business Analyst

nsight Global is looking for an experienced AI Business Analyst / Functional Analyst for one of our top financial services clients. This candidate will be joining an AI focused Technology group within the Risk and Finance Technology space. In the role, this individual will be responsible for will defining the end-to-end business & functional requirements to support the target business process with their business partners and contributing to the software development lifecycle of products and services from inception stage through to the final implementation. A successful candidate will have experience creating and maintaining business requirements (functional & technical) in partnership and collaboration with the business and obtaining sign off, creating functional solutions and conducting FSD walk-through and obtaining sign-off, and operating within the governance structure for the program/project and manage/escalate issues and risks as they arise. This team is seeking self-driven, passionate individuals who are willing to take ownership, initiative, and demonstrate resourcefulness. This individual must have excellent communication and an open mind; willing and eager to learn new ways of doing things.

Required Skills & Experience

At least 1 year of professional experience as a FA executing end-to-end Gen AI projects using following technologies
Must be able to create/design effective prompts that work with large language models to query complex questions
Must be well versed with Gen AI tools and terminologies and must have working knowledge of how large language models, embedding models, Vector DB work
10+ years' experience within technology with at least 3+ years' experience as a BA/FA
Delivery focused techno-functional role. Candidates must have working knowledge of Python and SQL
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work across multiple business groups and domains
Collaborative, with an ability to share information, transfer knowledge and train new team members
Proven ability to balance business demands of different stakeholders and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility
Experience building high-performance, enterprise applications at scale.
Attention to detail and self-starter, with an ability to identify risks and issues and suggest improvements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, networking and influencing skills
Bachelors degree or advanced degree and /or equivalent experience in related IS/IT discipline


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Ability to build POCs using Python/Streamlist will be a huge plus
