Requirements:

• Provides administrative and clerical service and support to the department.

• Accepts payment and proper documentation for reservations

• Provides customer service to the public; Answers questions, directs to proper area or person.

• Responsible for entering requisitions to obtain a purchase order when needed.

• Runs monthly reports required by the County Auditor’s office, as well as, create memos, reports and documents as needed for the department.

• Assists in developing the department’s annual budget.
• Responsible for entering work orders when needed.

• Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

Qualifications"

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 3 years job related office/clerical experience.
• Excellent computer and typing skills; working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with others.
• Strong bookkeeping and organizational skills.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within tight deadlines and to prioritize own and others’ work.

SALARY RANGE: $17.60-$22.00 per hour based on qualifications
