Bob Boyte Honda - Brandon is seeking a motivated and experienced Used Car Manager to lead and oversee our used vehicle department in Brandon, MS. This role demands a dynamic individual who can drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while maintaining profitability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the used car department, including inventory control and vehicle merchandising.
- Lead, train, and motivate the used car sales team to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase used car sales and gross profit.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Work closely with the new car sales team, service department, and finance team to promote overall dealership success.
- Oversee appraisal and purchasing processes for trade-in vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all state laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or in a related automotive sales management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and vehicle acquisition strategies.
- Ability to analyze sales reports and market trends to optimize performance.
- Familiarity with automotive financing and regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
