Job Summary Phlebotomist III Float – Kansas City, MO. Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM shift availability, 8–10 hour shifts, with rotational weekends. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Pay Pay range: $21.24+ per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing. Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams. Enter billing information and collect payment when required. Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as a resource for new employees; provide the point of contact to staff onsite and regular input to the group lead or supervisor. Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Five years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Minimum three years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience. Effective communication in English.
