Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC - $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Overview Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience Large-scale rack refrigeration experience Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record and passed MVR 18 years or older, high school diploma or equivalent Job Duties Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment. Use the work order management system to receive and complete repair work orders, inform store associates, and document activities. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete required training for safe operation of equipment and tools. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart’s safety policy and environmental guidelines. Lift up to 75 pounds, use ladders, and work at heights frequently. Compensation Hourly wage range: $23.00–$45.00 plus potential premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour. Eligible for bonuses and incentive premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work.
