If so, then Visiting Angels may have a position for you as a professional in-home caregiver! Visiting Angels of Southlake is hiring a Caregiver/CNA for our clients throughout the Northeast Tarrant County area in places like Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, Keller, Westlake, Trophy Club, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, and many others., and many others.

As a Visiting Angels Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene

• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks

• Planning and preparing meals with clients

• Handling light housekeeping duties

• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents

• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship

• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies

• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips

• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately

• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Shift Options:

• Full Time

• Part Time

• 12 Hour Shifts

• Overnights

• Short Shifts

Caregiver Job Summary:

• Providing companionship and conversation

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting

• Planning and preparing meals

• Light housekeeping

• Medication reminders

• Transportation to doctor appointments and running errands

• Additionally, our agency specializes in dementia and Alzheimer’s care with a program called AlzBetter® and provides specialized dementia care training using Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care®

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age

• 1 year of caregiving experience with an agency or facility or a CNA license

• Dementia or Alzheimer’s experience is a plus

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable vehicle for work purposes with proof of insurance

• Pass Background Check
