Job Title: Medical ICU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: Full-time Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years License: Valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience with ventilators and drips Description: The Medical ICU is a fast-paced environment with a total of 30 beds. Patient population includes individuals with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, and those experiencing alcohol use/abuse, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Candidates must possess a solid foundation in critical care nursing and demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential for optimal patient outcomes. Candidates should be prepared to manage complex cases and use advanced monitoring and treatment technologies. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing clinical situations are critical.
