We are actively seeking a customer-focused Strategic Inside Sales Representative I with a talent for quickly and effectively building customer rapport. This role plays a critical part in assisting customers with urgent product-based needs while supporting revenue growth and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. The position reports directly to the Senior Strategic Inside Sales Manager and works closely with customer service, operation, and technical sales support teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of customer interactions, including calls, chats, and emails, while processing orders during live conversations with Regional Sales Managers, field reps and end customers.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking skills to address customer inquiries efficiently and provide real-time assistance.
• Generate and deliver real-time quotes to customers with a strong understanding of product pricing and offerings.
• Ensure accuracy and quality in pricing information while maintaining Infinite Electronics' commitment to same-day responsiveness.
• Identify and understand customer buying needs by using effective questioning techniques to uncover requirements and preferences.
• Exercise sound business judgment to determine when additional support or escalation is needed.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on sales inquiries and quotes, perform customer discovery, and discuss additional product recommendations based on buying history.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty during difficult interactions by using strong conflict resolution skills to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to provide accurate, up-to-date information internally and externally.
• Gather critical information that supports continuous improvement of the customer experience and informs company strategy.
• Adhere to established sales processes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen customer service and sales capabilities.
• Meet daily qualitative and quantitative targets and contribute to overall service, productivity, and quality objectives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Commitment to achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on measurable results and overall sales success.

• Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and objections effectively and turn them into sales opportunities.
• Adaptability to different customer personalities, industries, and changing market conditions in order to tailor sales strategies for maximum effectiveness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to work across multiple systems concurrently, including a CCaaS platform.
• Power BI and CRM usage will be heavy and necessary to build reports, analysis and track opportunities, sales growth, quotes etc..
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and collaborative mindset that contributes to a culture of teamwork.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Education and Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing sales or service environment.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding established sales quotas.
• Experience working across multiple brands and navigating internal systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, is preferred.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Technology-related B2B experience preferred.

Physical Job Requirements

This role requires repetitive motion and routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, copiers, and scanners. The position also requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.

Environment

Work is typically performed in an office environment during normal or extended business hours. This position requires a minimum of two days per week in the office. Infinite Electronics continually reviews its deployment and work environment policies, which are subject to change at any time to meet business needs, including a potential requirement to work on-site up to three days per week.
