Restaurant Shift Leader

Our Burger King franchise group is looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team! We are looking for candidates who like to work together to provide exceptional customer service to our guests to keep them coming back for more. Positions Team Member Shift Leader Assistant Manager General Manager Compensation & Benefits Retirement savings plan (Oregon Saves, Cal Savers, 401k, or other) Bonus Program up to $9,000 yearly, depending on position Health, Dental, Vision insurance options Paid Vacation (for eligible positions) Paid Sick Time Gas Reimbursement (for eligible positions) Meal Discounts Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent required One year of related restaurant, customer service, and service industry experience required For Management roles: 2+ years of supervisory or management experience required Must be 16 or older to apply for crew positions Must be 18 or older to apply for management positions Bi-lingual Skills is a plus Servsafe Certificate is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Energetic and excellent communication skills Foster Teamwork and provide daily coaching and feedback Training and development Additional Requirements Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age Willing to accomplish all restaurant tasks Comfortable working in a fast paced environment Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment Ability to resolve consumer issues with tact Physical Requirements (approximately 67-100 percent of a scheduled shift): Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, repetitive motion (substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers), visual acuity, talking, hearing and ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds Responsibilities Greets guests with a smile, receives orders, processes payments, and responds appropriately to customer issues Operates cash register or point of sale devices, as needed, and uses value-added suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales opportunities Verifies the accuracy of guests’ orders Prepares and packages food and drink products Cleans kitchen area, counters, food preparation areas, and utensils Cleans dining room, restrooms and exterior grounds Maintains health and safety standards in work areas Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed Performs duties at multiple workstations (e.g., front counter, Drive-Thru, prep boards, expediter, etc.) Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts Follows BURGER KING uniform and grooming standards and policies Works to resolve issues that may arise in the restaurant Learns team effectiveness skills; works with others to achieve team goals Responds to guests’ needs in a professional and polite manner Communicates in a positive manner with customers, peers, and managers Thank you for your interest in working with one of the most iconic fast food brands.
