Forklift OperatorThe Shipping and Receiving Specialist accurately manages the flow of materials in and out of the warehouse by receiving inventory, preparing shipments, and maintaining organized stock levels. This role operates material handling equipment, prepares shipping documentation, and ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment while supporting a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming inventory by unloading materials from trucks or other vehicles and verifying shipments against documentation.Pull items from bins and storage areas to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.Load and unload materials safely on and off trucks or other vehicles using appropriate material handling equipment.Manage inventory levels by organizing stock, tracking materials, and supporting inventory control activities.Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents accurately and in a timely manner.Fit hoses and couplings as required to meet order specifications and customer needs.Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to support safety and efficiency.Resolve customer complaints professionally by identifying issues and working toward effective solutions.Operate forklifts and other lifting devices safely and in accordance with company procedures.Pick up and make local deliveries as needed to support customer orders and operational requirements.Perform all shipping and receiving duties, including labeling, staging, and verifying shipments.Identify and correct unsafe conditions in the warehouse to maintain a safe work environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bossier City, LA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
