Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonographer/Ultrasound Technician to join our expanding team of dedicated imaging professionals committed to delivering outstanding care. In this role, you will deploy advanced ultrasound technologies for diagnostic evaluations, engage with a supportive group of clinicians, and deliver peace of mind to patients through accurate and timely imaging.

Responsibilities at a Glance

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing detailed explanations throughout procedures
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce top-quality diagnostic images
• Manage ultrasound equipment, ensuring all devices are maintained properly and reporting any issues immediately
• Keenly document all imaging procedures while maintaining comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Continually update knowledge on advances in ultrasound techniques and methods

Educational Background Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar recognized body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
