Document Control Support

Document Control Specialist Job Purpose The Document Control Specialist acts as a liaison between the Engineering and Manufacturing teams, responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting, and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation (engineering drawings, project reports, specifications, product proposals, etc.) produced by technical teams, projects or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. Responsibilities Set up and maintain documents, parts and products in the AGILE system. Set up and maintain part numbers and their parameters (UM, LT, Cost, etc.) in ORACLE. Set up and maintain bills of materials (BOM). Review and scrutinize component parts and BOMs against existing AGILE/ORACLE to prevent part number duplication and perform updates. Transfer documents, parts and products from legacy systems (MAGI, ADEPT, QCBD) to AGILE and ORACLE as needed. Create and maintain routers: enter router information into ORACLE. Initiate engineering change orders (ECO) and manage their routing, ensuring their timely review and implementation. Implement document, material master, and BOM updates and changes based on ECO instructions. Distribute documents in response to requests from authorized users. Work overtime and sit for long periods of time as required. Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Two‑year technical degree is preferred. Knowledge of design and production implementation is a plus. 4–6+ years of experience in Document Control. Knowledge of AGILE and ORACLE.
