Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time opportunity runs from ASAP through June, offering the chance to work with an elementary and pre-K caseload. You'll play a key role in fostering communication and language development for young learners in a dynamic school environment.
The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children achieve their fullest potential and thrives when collaborating with educational teams and families to create meaningful progress. There are currently two openings for SLPs to make a difference in students' everyday lives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP state licensure or eligibility to obtain in New Jersey
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings beneficial
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for elementary and pre-K students
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Passionate about collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students identified with speech and language needs
- Develop and deliver targeted therapy sessions (individual and group) in line with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and initiate communication with families to support progress
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in accordance with school protocols
- Collaborate with educators and staff to promote generalization of language and communication skills
