Metal Fabricator

Beacon Commercial Door & Lock is a leading supplier & installer of commercial doors, frames, and hardware based in SaltLakeCity, UT since 1966. We are looking for a hardworking, detailed, organized and energetic Metal Fabricator to be part of our team. This individual would work in our hollow metal shop with a welding bench and tools provided. Metal working experience is highly preferred. This is a Full‑Time position, Mon – Thurs 7 AM to 5 PM, Fri 8 AM to Noon (may vary). Hourly rate is based on experience in the industry or similar work. Estimated to be $20–$24/hour. Location: 2770 South West Temple, South Salt Lake, UT 84115 Objective Weld door frames and fabricate custom parts. Present a clean and functional finished result. Responsibilities Fabricate and weld hollow metal doors & door frames. Problem solve to complete projects well and on time. Work primarily at a fabrication bench with a Mig welder. Work closely with sales team to ensure projects are done properly. Qualifications Good work ethic and attention to detail, desire to produce high quality results. Must be punctual and maintain a good attendance record. Self‑motivated, willingness to be trained and stay productive. Committed to safety and following processes and procedures. Comfortable working with hands and tools.
