Auxiliary Foundations of Medicine & Healthcare Instructor (Summer 2026) Circuit Stream is a leader in future technology skills training and learning content. We offer world‑class educational services for teen and adult learners with a focus on the skills needed to leverage immersive and emerging technology. We are seeking a passionate Foundation of Medicine & Healthcare Instructor to join our instructor roster for learners aged 13–18. The course will explore the foundations of different medical occupations, how organs and systems work together to maintain balance, and industry‑standard frameworks and theories that allow students to predict how body systems respond under different conditions. Through controlled simulations, students will analyze real‑world medical cases, interpret symptoms, and develop initial treatment plans. Teaching Dates June 29 – July 10 (Mon – Fri – 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM PT) July 13 – 24 (Mon – Fri – 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM PT) July 27 – August 7 (Mon – Fri – 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM PT) Optional: Attend a 2‑hour onboarding session in July and complete self‑directed training prior to stepping into the classroom. Responsibilities Create lesson plans and lead engaging and comprehensive classroom sessions following Circuit Stream's Foundations of Medicine & Healthcare course curriculum (curriculum and instructor guides provided). Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship as students ideate, develop, and iterate on their final project, a Medical Log Book. Demonstrate proficiency in making treatment recommendations based on symptoms and scenarios. Share real‑world experiences, case studies, and insights to offer students a holistic understanding of the field. Grade assessments that accurately measure student understanding and progress within the course. Requirements Availability to teach during the day (9:00 AM – 3:30 PM) between July and August 2026, if called upon. Availability to attend 1–2 training days in July prior to teaching. Previous professional experience in health and patient care in a clinical environment. Currently hold a nursing designation (LPN, LVN, RN, APRN or NP), be a current medical school student working toward an M.D., or be a faculty member of nursing or medical programs. Proficiency at evaluating medical data and delivering recommendations for patient care. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner. Innate logical thinking and the ability to inspire and nurture logical thinking in students. A passion for guiding and mentoring students, fostering their growth, and providing meaningful feedback. Willingness to adapt to evolving curriculum needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies. A collaborative attitude and eagerness to contribute to a positive and supportive team environment. A proactive attitude toward ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and stay up to date with industry advancements. The ideal instructor should either have a nursing background or be currently in medical school working toward an M.D. Teaching, TA, or training experience is an asset.
