This role oversees logistics, technical planning, staffing coordination, and budget alignment while serving as the primary connection between clients and internal production teams.If you are highly organized, technically minded, and passionate about delivering exceptional live event experiences, this is an opportunity to join a respected production team and make a direct impact.What You'll Be DoingEvent Planning and Technical CoordinationCoordinate all logistical and technical elements of assigned eventsConduct site surveys to validate venue logistics, power distribution, and equipment requirementsManage technical drawings and ensure alignment across departments and clientsClient and Proposal ManagementRespond to client change requests and communicate updates internallyReview formal proposals and issue documentation to clients as requiredMaintain consistent communication with client representativesMeet with planners and producers to strengthen long-term relationshipsResource and Logistics OversightCollaborate with Logistics to confirm equipment and personnel availabilityNegotiate substitutions when original specifications are unavailableEngage Technical Directors and Managers to quote AVL packages, drawings, and laborDevelop detailed grids for large breakout events including equipment, rooms, and support needsShow Documentation and ExecutionCompile show books and production manuals including schedules, drawings, and technical dataTravel and work on site to ensure continuity between planning and executionMaintain awareness of new and existing production technologyTeam Advocacy and LeadershipLead cross-functional collaboration across departmentsAct as a positive advocate for EventEQ's processes, standards, and visionWhat We're Looking For• Minimum of 3 years of technical background in rental and staging with show experience• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities• Ability to manage shifting priorities in fast-paced environments• Excellent communication and client relationship skills• Detail-oriented and solutions-focused mindset• Proven ability to lead and collaborate across multiple departmentsKey Skills• Resource Management• Detailed Event Planning• Conflict Resolution• Team Leadership and Collaboration• Time Management• Judgment and Decision Making• Client Communication• Technical Event CoordinationA Bit About the RoleThis role is ideal for professionals who enjoy blending technical production expertise with client-facing leadership.
