Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients utilizing standardized assessments and keen observational methods. Cultivate customized treatment plans that target immediate objectives while also addressing long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills. Collaborate effectively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, family members, and caregivers to formulate integrated care strategies. Provide education to patients and their families to encourage continued progress outside clinical sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and services to ensure seamless continuity of care during the treatment continuum. Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with all relevant state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and teamwork with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary within 30 days of employment. Skills Mastery of evidence-based treatment methodologies applicable to all ages, along with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Capability to modify therapy techniques to accommodate diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Strong clinical acumen and problem-solving skills.
