Job Overview Finance Specialist I – Full‑time position within Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions, supporting Kansas children and families. Hybrid work is available for candidates residing within 50 miles of the office. Average hourly rate: $19.92 (including incentives, bonuses, overtime, and shift differential). Duties Build strong relationships with outside client agencies. Enter accurate data into the agency’s automated system. Maintain complete vendor invoice and payment records. Prepare and review monthly financial worksheets for community care providers. Ensure accurate and complete submission of agency payments and invoices. Provide confidential reimbursement information to care providers. Assist in promptly resolving financial disputes with community providers. Help the accounting team with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Respond promptly to reports requested by regulatory agencies. Ensure all organizational financial activities are in compliance with applicable regulations and laws. Qualifications At least one year of general accounting experience or equivalent. High School or G.E.D. diploma. Valid driver’s license. Meets agency underwriting standards. Benefits 20 days of personal leave in the first year; 25 days thereafter. 12 paid holidays.
