Werbrich Custom Outdoor Living is a design-build residential landscape company specializing in complex outdoor living projects that include swimming pools, advanced carpentry, hardscapes, arborist services, landscape maintenance as well as traditional landscaping. Our projects are designed by our team of landscape architects and designers and installed by our crews in-house. We currently have 70 team members with an annual revenue of $15 million.

We have an exciting opportunity in our Cleves, OH office for a motivated, creative, and organized In-House HR & Recruiting Specialist to better serve our current team and help recruit new talent as the company continues to grow.

We are open to a part time or flexible schedule for the right candidate.

\n

This position combines HR generalist tasks such as benefit coordination and employee onboarding with recruiting tasks such as potential employee screening and searching to fill new positions . Additionally, the Bilingual skill set is crucial as 10 or our 70 team members are Spanish speaking.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing our HR/Recruiting systems in addition to communicating with employees (English and Spanish).

The primary goal of this role is simple: Develop/Streamline our HR Systems and recruit new talent as the company continues to grow.

Human Resources Generalist:

\n

\n
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR questions and concerns.
\n
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding.
\n
• Enroll new hires, approve time off requests, manage open enrollment, think “out of the box” on benefit additions/changes.
\n
• Attend various internal meetings to update the team on HR topics.
\n
• Manage PTO calendars and various PTO incentive programs.
\n
• Answer staff questions regarding benefits and company policies.
\n
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, update company handbook and new hire packets.
\n
• Manage/assist with the employee review process.
\n
• Manage /Complete employee census information and forms as needed.
\n

Recruiting:

Werbrichs has an low turn over rate. The majority of our hiring and recruitment needs are based on steady 10% + growth over the past 10 years. To sustain our growth, we need a dynamic person for the following:

• Respond to incoming inquiries about employment, conduct an initial phone screening to determine if the candidate is a fit.
\n
• Schedule candidates for an interview.
\n
• Manage/update/utilize our database of applicants.
\n
• Utilize Indeed, Linked In Recruiter and other tools to seek out candidates for open positions.
\n
• Lead efforts to recruit through existing employees by offering referral bonuses.
\n
• Attend job fairs.
\n

Bi Lingual Liaison

\n

Werbrich’s currently has 10 Spanish speaking employees. They are part of the H-2B visa program and have all been with us for multiple years. Several have learned English while others have not. They are some of our most valued employees. We currently have several bilingual team members but need someone who can effectively communicate important (perhaps confidential) information. Additionally we need the right person to:

• Improve communication across all divisions and departments.
\n
• Help create an environment that is appealing for additional Spanish speaking employees.
\n
• Perform HR Duties in both English and Spanish.
\n
• Identify channels to help recruit additional Spanish speaking team members.
\n

Help with Misc Office tasks

\n

\n
• Provide admin support to both our office and production staff.
\n
