JIRA Consultant

Location: Yonkers, NY Duration: 6 months

Summary of Job Description

Gather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA/Confluence setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests
Consolidate numerous current business processes into a manageable number
Develop metrics dashboards and advanced filters in JIRA to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
Interface with development groups within organization as the IT liaison for Development Cycles/Software

Required Skills

4-5 years of project management experience
Well versed with project management methodologies, especially Agile
2-3 years' experience with JIRA designing workflows, reports and business processes
Familiarity with GIT, Subversion, CVS, Java, Jenkins, Apache Tomcat, and APIs
Excellent communication skills
