JIRA Consultant
Location: Yonkers, NY Duration: 6 months
Summary of Job Description
- Gather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA/Confluence setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests
- Consolidate numerous current business processes into a manageable number
- Develop metrics dashboards and advanced filters in JIRA to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
- Interface with development groups within organization as the IT liaison for Development Cycles/Software
Required Skills
- 4-5 years of project management experience
- Well versed with project management methodologies, especially Agile
- 2-3 years' experience with JIRA designing workflows, reports and business processes
- Familiarity with GIT, Subversion, CVS, Java, Jenkins, Apache Tomcat, and APIs
- Excellent communication skills
